We recently hosted a benefit barbeque and bake sale to benefit local resident Keith Ownby who fell victim to a severe burn injury and has been hospitalized at the Vanderbilt burn unit in Nashville. While conducting the benefit there was a food drive to support the
Sevier County Food Ministries. The
Wears Valley Chamber of Commerce conducted the event and it was a smashing success! The Volunteers worked so, so hard and were smiling the whole time!

I am continually impressed with our beautiful community on how they are such caring and giving people. There is no place like home!
